Can you tell me what year this KZ440 LTD was made?

Was listed on my local Buy Sell Trade group on Facebook. I contacted the seller about a bike in the past, an old Honda CB450 or something. Someone bought that before me, and she tried to sell me this for $850....
Well, she's moving and re-listed it for $200. I'm picking it up this weekend for a project bike. She has the title and claims it needs a starter, I do indeed anticipate it costing me more to get it operating optimally but I never asked the year and she never listed it!

It's after hours so I suspect she's in bed now so am asking around on the internet for an answer.

Either way, $200 for a semi-working motorcycle is nice. I was peeping used bicycles on eBay for a new two-wheeled get around, so am happy to pick this bad boy up this weekend for less than some of the bicycles I had an interest in.

Thank you. Are the parts between the two years interchangeable?

After I pick it up this weekend I am certain I'll be buying this and that on eBay and Amazon. This is my first bike and it;s more of a project to learn than something I want to hop on and go immediately.

A lot of parts are probably interchangeable between the 440Ltds.
There is a cross-reference in the diagrams at Kawasaki.com. You can check a 17-digit VIN there as well.

In the future after you pin down the year, it's simpler to do the Search-by-Model-Info without fumbling around w the vin. I search by year only, then choose a bike from the list.
