Does anybody know of any Kawasaki dealers that have early Kawasaki parts diagrams with part numbers for like 1972 thru 1982 bikes online?? The dealership I was using just switched to that new system that does not have anything older than 1984!!!

I could not find any type of parts listings on Kawasaki.com. Another place just shows just aftermarket stuff that they stock. I need to look up a bunch of OEM part numbers for some early Kawasaki bikes. Someone please help me please!!!

Wish I never sold my old microfishe machine now!!! The big box store Kawasaki dealership by me has some 18 year old with purple spiked hair working the parts counter. Plus he won't look up any part numbers if you are not going to order them!!

You can find some microfiche pages on ebbaayy.

Partzilla has diagrams back to 1966. NLA stuff is listed as Part Obsolete. Click the part number or part name for the cross-reference.

At Kawasaki.com, if a model doesn't seem to be listed, once you get into the diagrams for some other bike, sometimes you can find the missing model by entering the model number in the box above the diagram drawings.
For the x-ref, click the full part number -->> In the new window/box that opens, click the yellow/black ? icon.

What models exactly are you looking for?

I just checked Kawasaki.com and while some of the very early (60s) models can't be found, pretty much all bikes from around 1970 and up should be there - the earliest I could find was the 69 H1 (MachIII), complete with diagrams and parts list.

Finding the diagrams there can be a bit tricky the first couple of times, let me know if you need any help.

Lots of good info on kawasaki.com, including parts diagrams, part names, part numbers, models sharing same part, availability, etc. Here's a link for help with navigating the site and finding information.

What Kawasaki years and models are part numbers needed for, and which parts?

Patton, I remembered that thread you're linking to when I made my first post and also found it, but the pictures in it seems to be gone - or am I the only one who can't see them?

THANKS to everyone who posted replys to help me!!!

I still cannot get the Kawasaki.com parts lookup to work. I punch in "1972" "750cc" "large streetbike" "H2" hit enter, and it tells me "NO MODEL FOUND" Guess Kawasaki never made a 1972 750cc large streebike H2.

Now Partzilla works just find.

I have boxes and boxes of parts, new and used that are not in parts bags anymore. I want to list them on Ebay and I like to give the correct parts number when I post them.

I used to remember most of the part numbers for most of the parts I used on my bike back 15 years ago. I worked with Kawasaki part numbers for over 28 years back 12 years ago. I can still rattle off all the old part numbers for like all the gaskits and o-rings you need to do a top end on a kickstart KZ1000!! I used to be a walking computer before dealerships had computers!!!

Now all I need is a Kawasaki site that tells me what other bikes a certain part fits. I have brand new 92007-024 bolts, which I know are the headlight mounting bolts for a 1976 900LTD. And I know that part number fits more bikes than that, but I can't find the place on partzilla thats tells me what other bikes that part number fits.

Likely has to do with the ongoing site work.

Go back to kawasaki.com , Owner info, parts diagrams and punch in 1973 / 750/ All / All and it will give you the 1973 H2 Mach IV. Select that and keep going and you'll get a pop up window with the choice of 72, 74 and 75. Pick one and you get the list of all the pages - air cleaner, carbueretor etc with the diagrams and numbers.

One of those pop up windows above has two little boxes - the first select "part number" from the drop down and the second enter the part number to find the models.

Good luck

You are almost there, Dr. Gamma. On Kawasaki.com, when you are on the final page of your search (the one with the exploded diagram), click on the part number from the list below the diagram. On that page, you will see a little yellow '?' to the right of the term Part Number. Click on that '?' and it will give you a list of all the models that used that part number.

BTW, on some models carried by Kawasaki.com, Kawasaki has misled users. When you get the error message of "no model found" for the H2B, just insert a hyphen making the H2B into H2-B and you'll reach the diagram pages. This is also the same error issue with the Z1 series, etc.

To me, the easiest way to use Kawasaki.com is to search by year only.

Search-by-Model-Info -->> click continue -->> choose a year -->> click continue -->> choose a bike from the list.
