the only ones i can find online are the KZ900...and i'm pretty sure this one i am about to get is a YZ900...does anyone know if i am just wrong and it is a KZ...the only difference between the pictures of the KZ and this is the pictures i have seen does not have the HUGE Body shield/windshild on the front...well anyways..it's a 1976 and it has 13,000...the guy wants $1000, but i think i can talk him into 750$....it has 13,000 milee...but it has been in a garage in Michigan since 1988..so i know i'm going to have to go through the carbs and more then likely the gas tank...but is this worth it??? I talked 2 my mechanic and he told me the bike as it sits is worth 2500$$?? just wanted 2 get a little more info from ppl who know more then me...Pleaswe reply wih any comments...Thank you so much and have a great day!! -Richard

I don't even know what a YZ 900 is but for the year 1976, would be a KZ900 not a Z1-900 (1973-1975) if that's what your referencing to.

In either case, since been in stored garage, if in good condition (engine not seized, body-frame-wheels clean, no rust/dents, electrical/wiring all there, no extreme oxidization etc....) regardless if running or not, @ $1k snab it up....

Here in AZ, all we get any longer is screwed up non completed 440-650 Bobber projects and police specials any longer. KZ900-1000 are becoming rare here unless you want to spend some $$$$

When you get her, post some images....

i'm pretty sure it's a KZ900...how much would it be worth running, all original, complete, 13,000 miles???

Completely original might draw as much as US$5000-6000...depending on factors such as time of year, location, sales venue (e.g. eBay and two or more motivated buyers). Completely original and running, that is.

I think a YZ900 would be a Yamaha 900cc two stroke dirt bike.

That would be impressive!!! :P
