lmao I have collected pocket knives for years and years. I actually road a 73 cl350 from Mathews VA to Ephrata long ago. Was a long ride flat out on back roads with head down hitting 80 at tops if I remember right. I do remember totaling it at a quarry hitting another bike that slid sideways in front of me. I have bought and sold knives for a long long time. The most I ever sold a knife for was 5 grand was worth 12 but hell i got it for 700.00

You guys are always worth a laugh.
From what I know the bike should be complete and stock, except the pipes might be aftermarket...Haven't actually seen the bike in person yet.
In my opinion, as far as mods go, tasteful mods that can improve the reliability, performance and looks of my bike are sometimes considered, but I usually limit it to either 1. to be reversible or 2. get a second part that I plan on mod'ing so I can put the original back on.
In my younger days I was more mod crazy and my pa used to always get on me and chew my ass about mod'ing stuff. Now I see what he saw. A original bike after time is always worth more and most of the time more "impressive" than something mod'd.
speaking of CL hack jobs. At work me and the boy used to cruise CL on lunch looking for good deals. Well, those are gone. Now we cruise it looking for hacked up bikes with owners thinking they are Paul Sr and Paul Jr. One odd thing I always noticed is when someone has a kaw 440 bobbed out with apes, welded/duct taped swingarm (because they didn't have the skill to actually do a complete rigid frame) hacked exhaust that go 1.5" past the bend by the header and pods, and not to mention no front brake (looks cooler) - they ALWAYS mention how fast the bike is. Then there is a 50/50 shot they'll mention "its a real head turner/I get lots of attention". Yeah, so does a 500 lb naked guy running through the street. Doesn't mean it's good attention.
