...those bikes didn't start as easily as they made it look, either. They had to clean the points, plugs and prep the carbs, probably even new oil. Look at the crap we go through to restore a Kawie that's only been sitting for a couple of years. Guaranteed they went through a case of carb cleaner and a sheet of emery paper getting them all running.
...4 Mil, not bad for a barn load of $#!+.
EDIT: Almost forgot, they probably dumped a couple cans of Marvel Mystery Oil down the plug holes to lube those dry cylinder walls.

Hi mentioned using Kroil in one of the clips. And you can see how much these bikes smoked on the initial start. So I'm sure they let them soak in Kroil for a few days before attempting start up. But I'm sure for the sake of TV drama, they make it look like all they had to do was pull it out of the barn put a couple of squirts of oil in the cylinders, fresh gas, and Voila it runs. Wish it was that easy. But I am guessing it would be a good assumption that Mr. Lee Hartung new a bit about engines and drained the fuel before storing these machines.

...damn right it should only be that easy! Not only for the TV drama, but they probably did it for prospective bidders. I could just see some jackass saying, "great, ready to ride!"
...I'm sure with Hartung's junk yard mentality he drained the gas out of everything. Pretty much a safety standard with salvage yards. Plus, they recycle the gas for their own use.
