Prepare to have your mind fracked! If you take the time to click the link below, you will be amazed beyond belief. If you're not, well, you're just not a real enthusiast. There are a handful over videos that start one after the other. It covers almost a week of digging through a collection of cars and motorcycles that belonged to a individual that has passed on. A lifetime of collecting some of the most vintage and rarest machines ever built. Sorry, there are no Kawasaki's, they would be mere babes in the woods compared to what is in this GIGANTIC barn. All to be auctioned off. Just click, sit back and enjoy. I guarantee you've never seen anything like it before. Even the best that the American Pickers have come across would be considered Bush League compared to this.

Enjoy! :)

That is just crazy cool! I have to assume it was this past November, I'd been there just to see it.

...some of those bikes are just amazing. A hundred years old still with the original paint and pinstripes intact. How freakin' cool is that? Time capsules on two wheels!

...it kills me though, that all those vehicles sat decade after decade and nothing was done with them. What's the sense of collecting if you're just going to sock it away where it'll never be seen? The idea should be to enjoy it all and share what it is with others. At least that's my reason for collecting the things I've collected in my life.

...wish I had the dough to bid on some of those beauties. :P

I should show this to my idiot neighbors and my local zoning inspector. Read that the collection fetched 3.85 million.

Here is a New York Times Article - Click Here I found when I looked up Lee Hartung's name. I would have thought it would have a hauled in a bigger sum. But it sounds like they are going to good homes.

...damn, if I only knew that Flying Merkel would sell for only a little over $200,000!

...I'd have been a player.
