Late 70's KZ1000 Advert was created by KZ1000inaus
My wife bought me an original magazine advert cutting from a collector in the US as it shows my 78 A2 in it's same colours.
Just check out the picture. It's sooo 70's and i have no idea what it trying to say or why some of the other bikers are wearing golfer hats!!
Worth a look as it's pretty entertaining
Sorry for quality as i just took a photo of it

...'admired by all', everyday people, hard core bikers. and the sophisticated!
represented by the couple, the denim jackets, and the golf hats, respectively.

I think it's implying that even the local chapter of the HA was impressed...

So many people were "high" in the 70's I'm not sure it means anything. Cool pic though.

haha well i was only 13 in 1978 so not too high.. maybe the year after :-)
Cheers blue, after seeing the entrants in a bigger show today i will enter it into more now as it seems it's up there with the best of them.
I parked it in the bike park outside the show and had a job to get away from it with people talking to me.
Z1000's are close to many peoples hearts it seems :-)
it's either they had one, knew someone that had one or always wanted one :-) i was the latter ..

Agreed. I should have included the

They really don't appreciate patches and rockers as I understand it. My riding ensemble assures that I won't be mistaken for one!

At least it looks Japanese :cheer:

Funny thing is, I see a lot of Brit style in them with Japanese tech. Perhaps that is my reason for attraction? I'll never afford a Triumph T100, for example.
