I just got it a week or two ago. 1980 Yamaha xs1100. The weird thing is that the Yamaha branded fairing didn't come out until 1981 with the "Venturer" model and then that dressing set had different bags. The luggage set is all Vetter. Also sort of odd is that "Macho Maroon" was one of the colors available for the 1978 XS1100 and I think that was the only year it was available. Somebody put together a nice tourer which I scooped up for a song. Compared to my kz650 50mph comes along a lot quicker and there's still another gear!

Not to mention the XS1100 has an (undressed) 11sec quarter mile, a top speed of 136mph (well beyond my aspirations), a reputation for being extremely reliable, and it only ran me $1200. Displacement has its advantages.
