KZ440 LTD conversion to Z440C??

A buddy of mine picked up 2 KZ440 LTD's and is thinking about what to do with the 2nd one. His looks like this:



Has anyone heard of someone converting an LTD to look more like a Z440C (I don't believe they were available in North America)? Something like this:



I believe the Z440C uses the "B" frame from a standard non-LTD KZ440, whereas the LTD's frame kicks up higher in the back. Are there any big differences besides that? I'm wondering if the LTD's mechanicals could be put into a B frame with Z440C cosmetics.

I also saw a nice LTD that was modified to look like this:



Not the same as the Z440C but it has a cool cafe feel to it.

Interested to hear people's thoughts.

My guess is that the motor should line up fine in a B frame. The obvious issues would be wheels (2X18" on the 440B) and the drive belt LTD vs. chain on the B. The air boxes are different and will not interchange (pods are held to be a bad option by most folks). Battery placement and box is different and the LTD center stand will not fit the B frame (I know 'cause I tried that). That's what little I know from rebuilding a B.
