Jeff, we'll have to do the Manitoulin/Tobermory run. It's a great ride, and I think the ferry crossing is something like a 3 hour tour... :woohoo: :woohoo:  .

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: Patton, I knew you wouldn't let me down! Should have started a pool...

Regardless, the flag is on the move again tomorrow, as I will be meeting rstnick in Parry Sound. Went for a test ride tonight to make sure all is well after my re-wiring this morning. Stopped at a local landmark; since Sudbury, Ontario is a mining capital I submit this for your viewing pleasure... B)

Edit: I've added 30 KZR patches to the package for those relay rides who might not have one...

Nice going with the schedule you guys, I am waiting for Rob to call me when he gets back from hooking up with you for the next stretch. One of those patches would be sweet! How full is the flag getting to be with signatures?

Still quite a bit of room on the front still, nothing on the back yet. I assume the other flag/banner is for overflow. By all means, if you don't already have a patch, grab one.

Not sure where the stickers came from, but Jeff took one and I grabbed two, so I think there are three or four left.

Will post up a report when I get back. Heading out early for a 1:00 PM meet, then likely head south a ways with Rob and friends, then head east/north back home. Might take an extra day and explore some areas I haven't been through yet. B)

Getting ready to head out to meet Dave.
Will have a Police escort, KZ1000C Police bike, and another buddy on his Vulcan as his kz1000 is not ready for a long ride.

I'll have patches for sale when I get back. ;)

Please take some nice pictures of the bikes and with that beautiful area as a backdrop. Its been cool seeing pictures of the bikes and the members on this relay. But looking at parking lots or a highway sholder as backdrops is not that interesting. Just look at 650ed's photos or riturbo or even the Florida ones kinda capture the surroundings and are some great photos B). Have fun and ride safe either way.

I'm really looking forward to meeting up with rstnick (Rob) and the Flag! I have to try to find some time to get the KZ back in street trim. I had a "track day" yesterday and we're crazy busy these days! If necessary I'll use the h2 as a back up plan! ;)

I've been contacted by kawboy74 (David) and we'll keep her moving as best we can! B)

Just got back from meeting Dave/dkmk in Parry Sound.
380 kms round trip for me, so about half of that for the flag.
Great ride, perfect weather.
Lakes all around, and some twisty roads through them.

A couple of buddies went with me on the ride to Parry Sound.
John came on his KZ1000C3, and Richard on his Kawasaki Vulcan 900.
Richard also has atwo KZ1000s, and some other bikes, but his KZ was not ready for the ride.

John's Police bike and my kz650 at the start of our day:

Richard's Vulcan and his KZ1000 a few days earlier:

Here's a stop on the way in Gravenhurst, on Lake Muskoka.
Some steam ships docked, getting ready to take out revellers:

Another stop further along Hwy 169, at Ava Lake:

Found this KZ650C2 owned by fellow KZR member dkmk, aka Dave.

Chatted about the relay, and Dave's meeting with Jeff.
Dave also met with Colin/reborn650 in Sudbury earlier, and Colin signed the flag.

Speaking of flags, the official flag relay pix:

more to come....

Nice work, guys!

Good to see the '650s getting a workout in the relay.

Lake Rosseau on the way back:

Pit stop on Hwy #4:

A bridge in Washago.
I can remember coming to this bridge over 20 years ago, and people would jump off into the water below.
Some people were getting hurt, so they added the bars to prevent jumping.

More pictures when I take the flag further...
