How long have you owned you z/kz?

Yea, Ed should be an inspiration, stay stock and stay clean. Also be satisfied with what you have for 35 years as a nice motorcycle without the desire to get a modern bike. Well maybe desire is there, maybe not, but Ed still keeps the fantastic 77 C1. Nice!

Less than a year old (notice Dunlop Gold Seal Tires) Just installed new Kerker.


Currently.... New paint,seat,etc, after accident 4 years ago. Still runs awsesome!

Bought my 1980 ST in May of 2011. I didn't take any pics when I first got her, it was a sight too ghastly to remember. So I painted her black as fast as I could:



I got to ride for 3 weeks, and then had to preform open heart surgery on her. As she sits now, waiting for me to get money for parts:



Thanks be to God for a new job that is paying me better than the last. I should be able to get all the stuff I need within the next month, and get her road worthy again by mid-March. But even after riding her for only 3 weeks, I can definitely see why y'all have been hanging on to them.

Is the old style original mufflers better silenced than the ones fitted to tje 1982/83 versions? I remember the latest 650s sounded pretty raspy and angry.
