Worst time in my life was spent married to a girl from New Philly. Her last name was Miller too but, so is about half the population there.

Man, you might be talkin' about his sister!

 or better yet, his mother.... :P

Well, I know it wasn't any of my relatives. My brother is the only miller I'm related to in all of ohio I think. And my sister has a different Dad, different last name. I think there's about 2 pages of millers in the phone book though. hahaha

Sure! No one is going to be left out as long as the flag hasn't already made through that part of the leg.

I'll be the one bringing it that direction so there is a couple of options for you since your pretty close to Hynohio and Cobura. I had planned on passing it to Hypnohio but we can work out whatever works for you and the others, buddy riding with Hypnohio or Cobura, putting yourself between the two or maybe even helping to take it further north from Cobura toward the Canadians.

We're still in need of a rider to fill the Pitt's to Canada segment, so if you know of anyone then let them know about this to see if they might help out.

Marked. I can meet hypnohio anywhere I need to. I don't mind ridding north or east to Pittsburgh. There's some nice state routes that will get me to Pittsburgh.

Hypnohio here-
I'm near Marietta and was planning going up rt 7 along the river, but can meet up anywhere to hand off or ride together. Depends on whether more Ohioans get into the mix.

Depending on time available off of work I would be interested. I live near KZRage, so maybe a ride-along or something of the sort. Any idea when you will get the flag, Jim?

Sorry for being absent, getting ready for some surgery and not feeling to well at the moment. Not to worry, I'll be fit and ready when the flag makes it to leg#2 to be sure it completes our leg as planned.

Melvin the flag is on its own schedule, best to watch the other relay threads here to monitor its progress to our leg. Still guessing June or later though at this point.

Jim, hope everything is O.K.
AFA the flag, due to the extremely long time it has taken for the first exchanges to take place, I hold little confidence that this can be completed this year. A month to leave one state does not leave me feeling reassured.
Just my take on it, as I have already planned our in-out to take no longer than a week, and as short as one day, crossing Indiana and headed to Illinois. Hopefully the rest of the groups can learn from the long pauses of the current flag holders and speed things up, but I hold little hope.
I hope I am wrong, but current lack of progress gives me pause.

I ride year round mostly. Hope it gets down here in the fall or early winter.
