New Nomad VN1700 was created by KZErider
Just recently I posted here about maybe getting a VN2000. After some responses and some pm-ing and some research, I decided to go with the Nomad VN1700. :)
Picked it up on a Sat and took it in for the 600-mile oil change and warranty inspection the following Fri. And one week later rode it down to Canyon Lake, about 20 miles from New Braunfels, TX.
While we were there, we took a couple of rides. One of them was up to FM 32 and along what I think they call the Devil's Backbone, Basically riding a ridge of some kind with vistas on either side. Didn't look at the vistas very much since I pretty much had to keep my eyes on the road. :P
I haven't had a need to post a lot of pictures before since my project ('81 KZ750E) is still waiting for me to get the time, money, and work space in one bundle -- space being the most difficult right now. (Guess if I would stop buying new bikes and riding all the time those three could materialize.)
Well here goes my attempt to post pictures:

Before including a pic within the outgoing forum post, it might help to first convert the pic to a jpeg version.

For example, a pic may be converted using the MS Paint program by saving the pic as a jpeg (shown below in Windows 7).

Good Fortune! :)
