I posted some stuff about a cheap Chinese Lifan dirtbike that i got for free on here. I was goin to let my younger cousin go up the alley way on it since hes in town for Thanks Giving. I figured i would go up the road on it once just to make sure everything was cool with it. took off in second, got it into 3rd(dont know why it worked all the sudden), shifted to 4th and probably hit about 35 to 40 mph. suddenly i hear a BANG and theres hot liquid all over my right leg. back wheel locks up and i ride a skid all the way up to my driveway from about 1/4 of a block away :woohoo: . i got off and looked at what happened. Something friggin exploded inside the crankcase where the transmission is located. I give my thanks that my cousin was not hurt and all i did was stain a good pair of pants. figured i would let you guys know what happened with the POS. Dont recommend getting one even if its brand new. Top end is beautiful and easy to work on but the bottom ends in these are just JUNK.
