Ran into a r6 out in the country. Some kid that must have weighed 135.
Don't know what year his bike was but the exhaust was positioned out the
back center above the wheel.

He had no problem with a quick blast.

I get out into the road and hit it with himn right behind me.

He could not catch up. I slowed next to him and we hit it again.

I dropped to second and cracked it open at 70mph.

I left that kid in the dust. It was easy even.'

Maybe the kid needed to drop another gear and did not, I don't know.

I slowed down till I was next to him and put up a hand and he pointed

at my bike three times. I said this one? He shook his head.

And that kid was smiling like he was as happy for me I was.

But my bike was awful fast with the timing backed down.
I gave it a handful of timing earlier today and it wouldn't rev.

for nothin. I backed it off then backed it off some more even.

That extended the power band to oblivion.

I got 30 feet of rubber cracking it open at 30 or forty in 1st
the other day so it was running good.

but it just goes and goes and goes.

And I now seem to be running alone up there. :cheer:

hee hee heeee I did it. I wanted to be faster than all the 600cc class.

And I'm there ;)

and where do I go from here now?

So many times I hear "you can stick alot of money into these bikes,

But still won't be as fast as the sportbikes"

Well I don't know what I did but it is working.

I wish my buddy long noung was around with his r6 he had.

He told me too owd, too heavy.

My bike will get to 90 so fast then at 100mph it sails on and on.

Yeah shes alittle soggy down low on take off before the charge starts flowing
in one direction and picks up speed but hey I have trade offf something!

Now I'm wondering if those 600's are all that fast or is my bike whumpin
and stompin, tearing up the ground like a beast.

YES. The sound of the engine and the feel of acceleration, the way it wind
and winds is just fun.

So if you can't take out a 600 guess it's back to the drawing board.

You can have my old chair it's still warm.

But I wont' be there I've moved on to the winners circle.

I went from day dreams to reality.

I knew that motor could do it from the first time I raced a zx10 and a zx6.

And got stomped but they didn't kill me.I picked up the pieces carried them home, shut the garage and started up the dremel tool and drill.

MORE POWER come on say it with me!

Then BS#34's!

They suck

r6's suck too

They are light, they do have 130hp. The quarter times are down to 10.8 stock

Or possibly better .

It can take off fast... but it loses torque with every gear....

My powerband is extended to comensate. It's higher than before and
lasts LONGER, so the result is picking up miles per hour quicker
in each gear, and more total miles per hour.

spinning it fast is only the first part
the power has to stay on, that's why
short cam timing probly wouldn't work for

racing at medium speed. You would always
be running out of rpm.

The yamaha has a limiting factor at high rpm.
the torque loss born of the stroke.

Every time it hits a gear it loses some hp Just from
the rpm drop. Then it lose torque from the increased gear.

The way my bike walked away that r6,

He maybe could have went down two gears.

but that wouldn't save him, that would only make him break the
plane with me,

You must realize that when you lose a race by several bike lengths,
they usually get at the start ..

the difference with a slight adjustment of ignition timing

It can put you there..

If you have enough rpm.

With the yamaha I have just enough.

I'm pretty fast right now. And I know darn well an experienced
rider on an r6 would not be able to run away from me.

I've been working on this for quite some time
and I know I'm not going to get some rude awaking to reality

that is where my bike does not do these things.

I'm there.

If I'm wrong, I know where the drawing board is...

If I'm right, I'll help you build your 1045 over the phone
and make you a hero.

But then you lose the stop light to stop light zoom.

I'm 100% correctamundo, That my bike will EAT A R6, CRUNCH!

SPIT!

RAHHHHHHHHHH!

then I'd have to get going

An r1

If only I had a turbo

THEN,

R1 rolls up

ready?

SET.

RAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

the motor has to take a deeeeep breath..
then it has expell that breath with inirtial thrust
causing enertia levels that can pull in intake charge!

when the thrust is your your exhaust exiting it's

the head that's going to limit the amount of inertia out
the exhaust, limiting inertia at the intake.

the intake valve has to be open longer.
The ignition timing changes etc.

There is a window for making power, it's only open at a time for a time,

catch wave, go racing. Take that surf board out of the cat tale pond,

and find ocean, great big party here, awesome time.

Oh , You know already bs34's will have to be mentioned..

ca chick chick boom :cheer:
