You are on the map Tri. Your pin is set to Salinas, Ca. Looks like you've been on since September 2011. So you're all set. Check it out.

Tri definitely needs to be in on the relay because he was the inspiration behind it! He planted the seed when he posted his "anyone here have a bike that runs?rode this month?" thread. Ed

In that case, maybe he should be the one to carry the flag on last leg to that beautiful coast he lives at as a tribute? You deserve a lot of credit too Ed.

Speaking of Southern California...
Some of you have heard this, but there's a movement afoot to get a story about the relay in the official "Riders of Kawasaki" magazine.
One thing their editor suggested was that when know more about the arrival in Southern California we work with Kawasaki's PR dept. to arrange a stop at the corporate office and a tour of the motorcycle museum.
I might fly out to California for that if we can make it happen.

Ramtough brings up a good point for multiple bike owners. If a ZRX is all you have that's fine but if you have a KZ400 and a ZRX the KZ400 should be ridden if you are to carry the flag. The flag was delivered to me on a KZ400 (boostable sold his KZ after he had possession of the flag so he got a guy with a KZ400 to ride with him).
I would rather a ZRX than a USPS truck. These bikes are old so having a chase truck is not a bad idea for the longer distance riders. A lot of guys are doing shake down runs in the relay because they just got it running last night.
Cool by me. Good point RamTough. I say let him ride, if everyone else is cool wit it.
Yep, let's try to keep it to a minimum if at all possible. So far, my KZ is running good at the moment, but things may change any day. I also ride ZRXs and that would be my fall back bike if it came to that just to get the flag moving across the nation.
RIDE RIDE RIDE !!!

Hey we have to remember the KZ was snubbed out by the GPZ which in turn became the Ninja then on to the ZRX. So technically a ZRX is as a KZ's spawn.
