Has anyone considered contacting Kawasaki Motor Company to see if they wanted to participate? You know, perhaps some freebees, some parts if we need them, free caps or t-shirts. In exchange for our story, our photos, etc.
Just a thought.

That's a great idea! Would you do that?

Just wait a minute, I'm the idea guy.
I would not mind doing it, but I would require 2 volunteers to assist me.
I am a skilled wordsmith, but I require someone to proofread and help me with the writing of the initial request. Then I would need a second volunteer to proofread the final copy.
If I can get this support I will do it.

My first thought was that Kawasaki might make a commercial out of this story. A bunch of 30 year old bikes still on the road, doing a relay ride around North America seems like a story they'd want to tell.

It's probably going to take someone who knows someone at Kawasaki to start that conversation though.

I will organize Washington State (if ok) and interface with KZCSI Bill. I am in south-east Washington (Dayton). Do we have an Idaho or B.C. contact yet?

Bill

Sounds like we need an overall incident commander (Craig??)

Im in north Idaho. If it comes east to west I can pick it up at the Montana border and take it across to the washington border or vice versa.

Sounds good to me! Are we west-coasters Leg #4?? Should we start a new thread for WA, ID, MT, B.C., Cali, etc??? Or a m I already behind the curve? :)

Is there any way we can get all of these threads stickied, including the photo thread? Or better still, get our own section and put them all there? This is getting really difficult to find the individual threads.
Thanks.

What keeps it easy for me, is to subscribe to the specific threads, and then when I get the email from that thread, I can click on the URL that is just above the message. Takes me right to that specific post. Saves me a ton of time. ;)

I am subscribed to them, but that only notifies me when something is changed. It would be a lot easier if they were organized such that we could go to one location and be able to search through any particular thread. For example, if I want to go look at the North America map I have to go find the first thread before I can parse through ti. If I want to look at the pictures, I have to go to a different area of the forum, find the thread, and then parse through it.
