For you Z1R lovers out there... was created by racer54
I have always liked the looks of these bikes and my cousin has a Z1R-TC that was a record holder in it's class so it isn't original anymore, but this one is. This is one great looking motorcycle!!!

I love how the exhaust looks on this bike! Sucker is clean! Have you seen this one? cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1973-KAWASAKI-Z-...&hash=item19c754cbb4
The price isn't quite as high as the one you posted, but there are still 4 days left. And this thing has less than 2 tenths of a mile on it!!! :woohoo:
I think it qualifies as still original racer54.

I had one, keep your money, not worth owning even for $500. Sorry, but what a piece of junk, the paint is junk, the turbo system is junk, whole motorcycle is junk. I don't mean anything personal on this particular speciman if you can call it that, which looks nice, but my god what junk a turbo bike is. 8000 mles on a turbo is equiv to 100,000 on a regular so bid accordingly, I wouldn't pay any money for the TC. I sold mine with 800 miles for $6500 and was so damn happy to say good ridance. What JUNK. OK sorry, I like a motorcycle I can actually RIDE. You can't ride a TC becuse it's a piece of horse sheet.

321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

Wow, junk? I'm just blown away. As for not paying any money for a TC, I'd buy and sell broken bowling balls if I could make money on them and If I had the disposable income I'd own a prime example of the Z1R/TC. Key word is disposable because I wouldn't be able to sell it. Sorry but I took this a little personal! Whatever bike we chose to embrace is like a family member to alot of us and you just called my kid slow and ugly. Get the picture?

geez!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! would love to have one of those so called piece's of junk again!!!! as i had a z1r-tc back in the early 80's.. funny i don't remember it being a piece of junk????? actually remember it being a very fun and awesome bike!!!! it did need top end over haul.. added 1075 turbo pistons!! was very streetable and fun to ride.. a little differnt than high compression kitted motor!!
which back in the day's i had both!! that z1r-tc was awesome even before i rebuilt the top end..
sad ending for my z1r-tc as it ended up getting stolen.. but the prick's got caught.. i actually got bike back,in parts.. the guy had to give me his complete z1r in a plea bargain deal.. so at the time i came out ok. and sold everything... guess some might call a 76 ltd junk also!!!!!!!!!!
