Thanks a lot guys. I did it. 3034 GPS documented miles in 45hr 40min. I got messed up and lost 40 minutes the last 15 miles trying to get home at the end. Huge traffic jam and construction in Denver. I made it though. Yesterday mainly 95 to 102 degrees according to the goldwing. I was about sick as I had that sun right in my face after all those miles. Sun went down and I had 220 miles to go I was feeling good then. I didn't feel like starting day 2 as I had 1.5 hours sleep, but since I bragged up this, I had to do it.

That's a long way in a short time by road no matter the vehicle. You probably started getting dehydrated. We have these "Camel Back" back pack style canteens that allow you to have a drink anytime. Pick something you can refill with at the Gas Station. Mostly use them on Dirt rides, but the longer street rides it is also very handy for. Water or Gatorade type drinks, stay away from the grains and hops.

Wowee, congrats Ron! You have surpassed Iron Butt. I think you have made it to titanium or inconel by now.
I did a little over 4000 miles this week, but most of it was on a 737.
