Motorcycle salvage yards

Can anyone help me find a motorcycle salvage yard near Chicago? Having no luck locating random parts to customize for my 77 KZ1000 A1.

ebay is a pretty good source for aftermarket items.
Anything particular in mind?

I looking to extend a stock swingarm with four slugs and a couple extensions made from another KZ swing arm for starters. Would like to strech and lower but still use the stock shocks and locations. I hate shopping online for parts and would like to see the parts for myself before I buy them.

I live is Seattle so do not know of any and can not speak about any of these, but I did a quick google and found the following
HONEST DAVE'S MOTORCYCLE SALVAGE 3808 S. ASHLAND AV. CHICAGO IL. 60609 773-523-8470
Contact Motorcycle Salvage Chicago 1-773-292-4317
Motorcycle Chicago 1869 N. Milwaukee ave. Chicago, IL 60647
I also found a listing of motorcycle services in the Chicago area which includes some salvage locations.

Hope this helps.
As an aside I was raised in IN and there is a large salvage shop in INDY - Cycle re Cycle that I made much use of in the past. I know that INDY is a ways for Chicago - couple of hours - but depending upon what you are looking for it may be worth the trip. crc2onlinecatalog.com/

I bet that pole barn is chocked full!:woohoo: Here is what you could see outside, about to rust more this winter in Michigan if someone doesn't buy it!
This was located about 10 miles west of Three Rivers Michigan on M-60, about 2 and a half hours from Chicago. I couldn't see a business name anywhere and had no idea it was there. I just came across it randomly in my ride. Anybody know anything more about this. I'm gonna have to check it out when it's open sometime. I will post up more info when I do.

You would lose your mind lol. They have separate buildings for tanks, wheels, fenders, seats etc etc. Amazing the stuff you see!! I haven't been there is quite a few years and need another visit soon!
