A neighbor has one. Hasn't ridden it for 20 years. Has a ring in his nose. Won't sell it ether. I see the way he watches me as I ride by. I know how it feels. I had to watch other guys ride by while my Z1 sat under a tree. No one thought it ever run again. :woohoo:

As far as I care Stig is dead; created by Clarkson, it should be over without him...

Or they should let him keep the concept...

my bikes; 80kz1000(project), 77 gl1000, 74 h2 (project)
Past; 78 kz1000, 83 kz550

The S2 350 is faster than the aircooled RD 350, but the RD 350 are better at going around corners. Would put my money on the S2 in a drag race and on the RD 350 in a road race.

ive owned two H1 500 (71 and 72) and a 72 H2 750, the most exhilarating and best sounding bikes ever.

It would wheelie easy in 1st or 2nd gear with throttle only needed. Not a comfortable bike bike sure was fun and head turner. It's set up like a triumph bike but loud and fumes were stinky due to being a two stroke. So yes this bike does exist.

My H1 woudn't lift the front wheel like that. Also I agree, bypassing the injection pump would most likely fry the crank in short order.

I liked the H1 but was glad to trade it in for my KZ900.

I had a H1 E for a few years, won my share of money at school having drag races after school against Nortons, CB 750, triumphs etc. When the smoke cleared (literally), the Mach111 was a winner by heaps. It could keep up with a Z900 (both my brothers had these) in the first two gears but then the Z900 pulled away. As for not lifting the front??? I had to sit on the fuel tank on takeoff or it would threaten to flip.
Then I saw the Z1r and that was the end of the triple, after the Z1R I honestly never longed for the Mach111.

First Permanent ride the Z1R since Dec1977 (220,000km) as of June 2015
Second permanent bike 1989 FJ1200 dyno'd 140RWH, great bike.
Third ride is now the Frankenstein 1981 GPZ1100B1, 1983 fully recon motor fitted LOVE THIS BIKE
Forth my work bike FJ1200 1989 (same type as FJ above)

That is a 1973 H2 not that it matters in colors, not that it matters much. I still have a 1974 that I've had for 36yrs. My review after 36yrs is that I'm glad times are better now for motorcycles.

321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.
