Here's mine. At idle when fully warm I get about 18. At highway speeds it's between 50-60.

Well, that's what I've read but I dunno...
This shot is with the cover off and the motor running but stone cold and a fresh filter. Once it warms up it drops down. It's an Autogauge brand meter 0 to 100psi. I tried a 0-15 gauge the first time but it consistently pegged the needle.

Kaw large fours (with needle bearing cranks) have the low psi.

AtLarge's bike is a KZ750 twin, which has higher psi.

Good Luck! :)

I got a pressure gauge from Mcmaster.com as posted above. It is one of the 1.5" diameter gauges with the pipe thread nipple coming out of the bottom of the gauge. I used a tapered pipe bushing (i believe 3/8" NPT size) in the oil pressure test port in the block with red loctite on it to seal and secure. The thread pitch just so happens to be the same as the metric threads in the block, but the threads in the block are not tapered. The red loctite is required to take up the difference in size because I believe it would be too loose for teflon tape or liquid pipe sealant. I screwed the gauge in so that it was facing toward me when I'm sitting on the seat, I can glance down at it and see the oil pressure while riding. I used a 0-30 psi gauge, it will peg the gauge if you rev the engine high while cold but you shouldn't be revving the engine high while cold anyways :) I've ridden about 1000 miles so far with this setup and had no problems out of it.
