Put the KZ away for the winter today... Sad sad day . Michigan weather sucks haha. I would keep it on the road a little longer but I'm away at school and have no where to keep it there, so put it in my buddies pole barn back home.
Who else is done for the season?

Put mine away today. Did the usual winterising stuff and put the cover on. I'll check on it in March .
At least there's KZR to keep me sane over the winter

there was real joy to a summer day and a good blast on a z-1...
So i feel the winter too...although i can for now handle the 4 minute ride to work ...so far,but it's pretty cold at 65 mph.... and yet when the summer days come back...i still don't enjoy the summer rides as i once did....as i think i should still.....back then.... with young dumb friends and the too fast 20 mile rides to the inlands and 100 degrees, and hidden diving cliffs over secret swimming holes .....racing blind into canyons echoing off rock walls....crossing creeks and dirt roads ..away...into redwoods and shadows and out again into wheat bordered straights......after a few beers and a big joint with my cronies.......
I still ride in summer...i still pretend to go fast...i still pretend to be a rebel....but my fangs are worn dull...and tires near new...even after a ride....
And so it will be again next warm season......i kid myself that by buying a zx10r ...i again will be able to throw it into those blind canyons ,and pin it over cresting roads into the blue.... but i know i won't ...ever....like before.....ah.... winter...makes us all faster....

Yeah I would keep it out if I was going to school at home, but I didn't want it to sit outside at Grand Valley... Maybe it will be nice a weekend or two when I'm home and I'll get it out for a day or two... But I doubt it haha
