Nice 78 KZ650 C-2

I thought both years silver was the same as was the Z1R. I'm wrong on that I guess. I "think" the 78 Z1R and 78 KZ650C was the same color. Every 1977 KZ650C I've ever seen was the blue one. I've never seen a silver one in person far as I can remember.

That "'78" does have the tapazoid brake resevoir, front calipers behind the forks like a '78, but the stripping (tank and tail, and maybe side cover stripping is different on the '77 & '78s) and probably Silver colour of the '77.

It may be a change over model bike, where near the end of the years production run or one of the first for the next years model, some of the newer year's model parts are starting to come on board.
A local guy has a '78 IIRC KZ650 that has some next year's parts on it and he says it came that way.

This one has been repainted of course.
It has the two bolt mounted front pegs found on the '79s as well as the Kawasaki logo on the engine case, side cover badges look '79 and later.
The non-drilled rotors, tank badges & rear caliper of a '78.
We didn't get the smog stuff in '79 (at least my brother's/my '79 C3 didn't have them) so the valve cover can be either year here.
