No, not my KZ - I sold my W650 to a good friend because I bought a 2000 ZG1000 and cannot justify keeping all three! The Connie is great - bought it off the original owner who bought a ZG1400. It has 37,000 miles and is in excellent shape. Runs like a champ. However, the best bit is that you really can tell it is related to my little old KZ650 - engine revs and feels just the same. The water cooling and shaft drive are nice for a sport-tourer though!

I now have over 500 miles on it (in a little over one week!) and LOVE it! Installed cruise control over the weekend and am looking forward to some long trips - it really can eat up the highway miles!

Eric, Eric, Eric... we don't need to justify having three or more bikes...we just do it... although I have lately pondered getting a Connie for my daily work commutes...

i'm kind of starting to dig the Connie's, but how low can you really make one? I sold my dressed 82 KZ1100 simply because it was really tough on a 26 inch inseam. I've been considering a 1300 because it's just so damned big and manley, and I can lower the hell out of it with 650 shocks and such.....right?

Sorry - I don't have any info on lowering the Connie (34" inseam - no need), but on the Concours Owners Group sites there is a lot of stuff about lowering them, so I suspect it is possible.

I am loving it - great torque and power, effortless cruise two-up at 80+. I already have done almost 800 miles - and not really been anywhere - but that's the good part, it makes a good commuter bike too!

I have installed cruise-control, and used a RAM mount for my GPS - hoping for a top-box for my b'day! Looking forward to some weekend trips on her next spring!
