WWWAAAAAAHHH!!Why bother, I have been told hot rodding these bikes will only cost alot and make them crap to ride, oh yeah and it will only run well for a week then need repair. he should have just bought a zx6.
Yeah, and i bet it doesnt pull 13,000 - 15,000 rpms either
Good thing I don't listen to the few unhelpful jack holes on these forum or I couldn't appreciate this machine. And I do, I really like this bike. I hope the owner/builder turns up on the forum one day! Some people can truly enjoy the process of taking something common and making it unique.

Anyone know what those bikes used for a fuel system? It doesn't appear to be a blow-through carburetor setup...
I don't know about this particular bike, but I had one of the original ATP kit Z1R-TC black moly bikes and it used a Zenith carburetor and had an electric fuel pump to pump the fuel up to it. The whole system left a lot to be desired to say the least. Zenith should stay with TVs. I doubt any relation to LG/Zenith, but what junk that carb was as was the entire motorcyle thanks to that ATP kit and rotten paint job.
On a brighter note though, this Z1R looks really great and with some work and know how it looks as though it's sorted out wonderfully.
321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

Blowthrough setups are a lot less common on these bikes.
