new drag bike was created by rspector
i purchased a drag bike in newhampshire yesterday that has mikuni flat sides, bored out to 1327 two oil cools, radial tier swap, aluminum swing arm, ect. Previous owner says they used to trailer it down to daytona and run it at the track. Im curious to if any one has heard of this monster as its a very unique looking bike. Custom Orange Fairings, and they put decals on the side covers that say 1327. Any input would be greatly appreciated, clutch cover says MRE on it, and the jugs are not factory. (I don't know if you can punch out a 1000 to 1300 with factory jugs)

ah that would make sense, claimed they had it clocked at 170 but we will see. paid 700 for it, so i'm sure i could recoup that if I had to considering it has all the goodies on it. I can't wait to dive into the machine, i'm curious to what size flatsides are on it. Also I believe the jugs say mtc? Any ideas on what that is? I'll get more pics when I can
Thanks for the input

Lol, well I wouldn't hold my breath while waiting for that bike to get to 170 mph! MTC makes big bore cylinders that you bore to fit various sized piston kits. If you were told it's a 1327 that's probably what it is. 1327 is a very common kit.

its been a while but i believe the carb size should should be stamped on choke lever or somewhere in that area on the carbs.bigblocks normally run anywhere from 1197 to 1428 and everywhere in between just depends on what sleeves and pistons are in it,i got hosed on a 1327 motor that turned out to be a tired 1197 before so the only way to be sure is to pull the head and measure the bore B)

Still recovering, some days are better than others.

Road racer makes more sence than a drag bike. For sure would not hit 170mph at the drags but maybe on a long back stretch of a track it would. It will be fin to see what in uder the wrapping

With a 5 mile stretch that bike wont get close to 170mph.
