UK insurance for old Kaws is really cheap. They are considered "classic bikes". I have my 79 KZ1000ST and 78 KZ650 on one policy with fully comprehensive insurance, breakdown cover, and legal cover, with unlimited mileage allowance for just £120/year (about $200USD) with Footman James.

I'm in Omaha NE and have State Farm for all my insurance. My two bikes, 77 KZ650 and 78 GL1000, cost me about $9 a month each, or right around $150 a year total for the both of them. That's just liability coverage, with $2500 major medical built in. We've got two cars, home owners and the two bikes all on the same policy and I think the multiple discount per insured item is more than what I pay per month on my bikes.

Edit:
I'm 31 years old and have a clean driving record if it matters...
