How much do you pay to register your KZ each year?

I'm curious what other states do. Here in Colorado we just got a $35 increase for each plate renewal enacted. I thought that could not possibly include motorcycles? Yes, my registration last year $15, this year $50. Times that times 7 KZs and I get hit with a $245 a yr increase. So I'm paying $350 to register all 7 motorcycles, luckily have a decent insurance program for around $250 for all the bikes, so $600 down the tube for basically zero benefit. I ride 3000 miles a yr give or take so $0.20 a mile just for bullshit before real expenses start adding in.

321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

Mine was 45 dollars I think. Tough to feel sorry for a guy with 7 bikes...LOL...Russ

Any time you want to save $50 give me a call and I will come by in my truck and pick one up.

Wisconsin licenses their motorcycles for two years at a pop. I'm probably going to get a "Collector" plate next time I have to renew so I never have to register again. It just requires that I maintain a second vehicle (non-collector) and the motorcycle be 20+ years old (I believe).

Right now normal 2 year renewals are $23 right now, probably going up with the next budget since the Gov. here likes to make money from the DOT.

I got historical plates for my 1000 last year. It was around $35-40 or something like that. They're good for pretty much forever. I haven't ridden the bike more than 10 times in the last 2 years so it's a waste to pay over $50 for an annual renewal fee.

I'm in the same situation as Doug and Gorack I run historical plates, one time charge of $27.00 and they are good for 50 years. Since I can only ride one bike at a time after I bought my second one I said screw it, I just flip a plate onto whichever bike I feel like riding. Remembering to change the plate is the only hard part, I've forgotten a couple of times and rode to work and back with no plate.
