321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

1978 KZ650B 1,800 miles
1980 KZ1000E 4,000 miles
1977 KZ650B 23,000 miles
1977 KZ650B 65,000 miles
1979 KZ1000MKII 80,000 miles
1978 KZ650B 168,000 miles
I thought I had a lot of miles on that 1978. It took me 10 yrs to go 100,000, then another 6 to get to 160,000 when I pretty much retired it back in 1994. So I guess a lot of miles "for a KZ" anyway. I've recently been reading some stuff on the IBA "iron butt association". You wouldn't believe the stuff they sanction. Starting from 1000 miles in one day "easy"
, you can progress to 1500 in one day, if thats not enough 1500 in a day for 3 straight days. How about 1000 a day for 10 days? or a ride from Key West to Pruhdoe Bay, AK then back to Key West. How about 100,000 miles in one year? Several Harleys have done this, now that is amazing to me.
