ever notice how on the sportbike forums, the members are all a bunch of unknowledgable 18year old punks who act like the immature little brats that they are... Well, what does it say to you when it takes an 18 year old kid to tell a bunch of old guys on a vintage bike forum to grow up. arai59, if you are challenging plummen's knowledge and experience, you can slow your roll right now. BTW, Whoever welded plummen's frame is an artist and an expert and is welcome to come weld my gusset's too. I wont at all feel like less of a man or builder.
I wish i had someone to weld my steering neck before i got done with it.
It is a good thing i can grind good. And paint!!!

Don't forget to remove the oil filter too because it drains HP pushing oil through it. Or for maximum efficiency you can simply drain the oil so the pump freewheels. This doesn't actual increase the HP, but it lets more of the existing power get to the rear wheel (until the engine siezes). :silly:

By far the best bang for the buck, after pulling your filters. You just need to know how to work a wrench and a torch. Don't forget to drain your gas tank so you don't have any fuel around to cause a fire when using the torch.
If you don't want to pull the head, just drip some solder onto the piston through the spark plug hole. When the engine gets hot the solder will melt and fill in any defects you may have in your piston or head.
