170 hp kz 1000 motor

I was wondering. If I raise my needles 1 notch and go with 122.5 mains. Can I expect a reliable 170 hp street motor that can run on 87 octane ?

i never said it was a street motor and i said nothing about it running on pump gas what i said was that it's very possible to get big power out of these engines.

Depends, what shot of nitrous are you running?

throw a big bottle of happy gas on it and you probably could. infact why dont you give it a try and let us know how that goes.

dont forget the coil mod!very easy to get 170hp out of a kz streetbike motor its called the T3/T4 mod,now if its a gas burning dragbike motor you just need a really big bore and a lot of money to make it work
