To me, that Kaw dragbike can't even be compared to the V-rod or V-max....the Kaw is totally functional and engineered to kick ass on the drag strip.

most of my exposure to kawasaki drag bikes, and prostreet bikes was 20+yrs ago.Just had to walk across the street to see what was happenin with my friends, always 2 or 3 projects goin in that garage. Spanky, Peach , and Shaw were always messin with or buildin somethin. Lots of memories, no pics darn it. The last one I remember was Kieth buildin a 1400cc prostreet bike, had the 4th car tire rim made for a bike, the manufacturer had produced, 10 inch Mikey Thompsen street slick, one piece fiber glass body, longer then stock home made swing arm, cut trans, regenerative air shifting.
Keith said it would lift the front tire no problem, and run straight as an arrow; didn't corner for nuthin, and with the back tire you really didn't need a kickstand, it would kinda just sit there upright. Ended up down in Colona involved in a swap.

Even if you don't like drag racing. Take a look at this!
Nostaliga at it's best! Take a 4 minute break and enjoy. If you have never seen this one on you tube
There are 2 or 3 motorcycles in it.
Jeff Beck's "Big Block" music makes it even better.

Wow that was cool! At least some of those shots are from my home track! (Thompson Drag Raceway)It's still going strong too...They only recently changed the name to Thompson Raceway Park or something like that. Great video! :woohoo:
This reminds me that I have video of me and my brother racing our KZ's there back in the early 90's. I'll have to dig that up and show the kids sometime.

Wow...Did this thread die?
Maybe we should go old school, for a jump start. What could be better, then one of my slide shows?

Have we used all of the Z photos, in the world? I don't think so! The search moves forward.
