Kz dragbike/streetbike photos...

Green KZ was running 9's in 1/4. Had a big-block high comp. motor. The other is a Suzuki (yea I know) but just liked the picture. Sideways and smoking the tire...awesome.

I just picked up an LTD Tank for a project.
Might like to cut this down some like this one.

Marty, Thanks for the pics! One small correction, Angie Smith (nee McBride) is married to Matt Smith, both ride PSM but she's not Larry's daughter.

Yes I was in Piedmont, NC with Mangus in 89. I took a 8mm video of that weekend, pretty funny!
Elmer was there, Larry McBride was running a GS Suzuki then. He blew his cylinders off of the case on race day. It was a religious county, we could not start an engine until noon on Sunday, final's day.
Jim and Phyllis McCLure came by to spectate, after the race Spiderman took Jims keys out of his mini van and hid them. When Jim caught on he chased McBride around for a 1/2 hour, funny stuff.

I have some old photos, I have to get a scanner one of these days.

How about that Jack, that's the video I took. I was over at Mangus's last week and he was trying to figure out how to get that video on line.
I copied the 8mm to VCR tape 23 yrs ago.

How about the sound of Chris Hand's redneck express SOHC Honda 860cc fueler? almost sounds like a V8.
Sorry to get off on a tangent, but this is history and old skool racing.
Nothing like standing behind them, getting hit with hot rubber and smelling NITRO holding a borrowed big ass 8mm video camera.

Pretty grainy. But it was made in 1989. on an 8mm camera, transfered to VHS 23 years ago.
