Do you bother with idiots on craigslist?

It seems every day I see adds like this. 1976 KX1000 Cumpletly ristord, new chane, black, $1. That's the heading, then in the add it says make offer. I offer $1 just like in the heading. Anyone who can't spell chain, and puts $1 in the add and repaints black, and don't know a KZ from a KX motocrosser, plus 1976 KZ1000 wasn't even made yet. Do you bother with morons or just leave them be? I email them offering the $1, heck that's what you're asking it says?

I've noticed that for some unknown reason there is a really high percentage of ads on CL that seem to be written by people who rode the short bus to school all their lives. It does irritate me that someone is too stupid to spell check something before putting it on the net. That said I have found some good deals on CL so I continue to subject myself to try and figure out what they are trying to sell.

There seems to be a spelling curse on Craigers. I know a guy who is well read and we communicate often. He recently put an ad for a bike on it and I couldn't believe the dumb spelling mistakes. He had no calls. I told him to go back and look at the ad he had placed and he did not realize he had made them. I mean they were dumb. He fixed the ad and started getting calls. Sold the bike a day later.

I don't mean to be a spelling Nazi and do enjoy some creative spelling but when I see a real badly spelled ad and in the picture I see the guy has a mansion, 5 bikes, in ground infinity pool, new Vette's and Viper's in the background I get a lil' "foshizzled"! :ohmy: :blink:

I like it when they're like: "Needs nothing. Great little car for a mechanic to fix up, mint." I'm pretty sure thats an ad for a Subaru I saw a while back, it wasn't running, but somehow it needed nothing and was in mint condition. Go figure.

and then theres this gem....just looking for another
bike to fart around with and spotted this smack - talking genius....maybe his hockey helmet slid down too low on his brow and he could' nt see keyboard.....
