I think i'm getting my answer here slowly
(the answer i knew deep down was the right one !!)
it is a survivor with only 3600 on the clock !!
after being parked up in a garage for 20 something years
it deserves a good airing out on the roads without it's ass being chopped off !!!
I'll just keep working on the little problems and get it out there
THE KZ-COURT HAS SPOKEN !!!!!!!!!!

good choice i have nothing against chopping up and modifying bikes at all i only have 1 original bike myself it's just that you dont get many opertunities to find such nice original bikes often, all the bikes that i have modified over the years and that has been a few all started out with by being the typical 300.00 dollar beater so ididn't feel bad about changing things around.

no poo-poo... That bike is way to sweet to modify.
Then again, your bike...
As some of the others mentioned, most of us that went the way of hack & slack... the bikes started out as real ruff to total P.O.S. non running bikes.
As in my case, if it had been a 1973-75 Z1, no way, it would have went back to original condition. Being a 1976KZ900-A4... hack away.... And mine was a total P.O.S. non running junk pile.
Unless you have the time, tools and $$$ you will run into the Oh crapola, didn't think of the expenditure...
Good choice, leave this beauty alone, go beat up on a different bike.
