I took my wife and found the jacket I was going to buy and then went to look and see if they still had any 08's, huge mistake, left from the last time I looked. My friend Ugi sadly decided he wanted to buy one and abandon his kz and since he doesn't speak very good english or know how to haggle with dealers very well I proposed to haggle for him and call him about a price etc.
Well, the guys said I was crazy, no way a bike like that is going to sell this cheap blah blah blah. I said I was serious and to make a long story short they agreed on the price so I called Ugi and told him and he said what color is the bike they have left. Silver I said. He said no I want black. Now with new old stock bikes you pretty much have a choice of what you want as long as they have it in that color. He said he wanted black end of story. His new name is now "Prince Ugi".
The salesperson said why aren't you interested it's a great price. I said yeah, tell you what you give it to me interest free and I'll take it telling my wife "Ha they will never finance me for interest free no money down". My wife bet me and I said sure I am sure they won't go for that. I lost that bet with her and now owe her 100 dollars. No problem she is a part of me. She then said it's your money. Go ahead. Go for it. Instead of trying to talk me out of it. You already have two why do you want another one for. None of the usual bossy nature that women have. So I signed for the papers but couldn't take the bike home that day because of the torrential rains that gave me a swimming pool over the weekend for free. Right in my own basement had a pool party until 6 in the morning!
I had second thoughts and experienced a serious twinge of buyer's remorse and now don't want to follow through with the contract. I have read that once you sign it's yours. Since I haven't taken possession of it I was wondering if that rule applied to this situation as well.
Feedback would be greatly appreciated. My id says what is wrong with having three bikes in my garage all of you guys have that and more. The common sense in me is like that project now will be on hold for another year at least. The id got me again. Last time I walk in to a dealership after having a delicious pint of ale or two.

My wife over heard a conversation of where I'm trying to squeeze my buddy out of his kz900 clunker for cheap... Of course she piped right in, you're not going to do another one so soon are you....
Nope, guess not was my reply...

What kind of KZ is it that your friend Ugi is thinking of abandoning? Pretty sure we could find a new home for it somewhere w/i KZR.

Basically an abused rat. He paid 4k for it from a dealer and it was seriously hacked on by butchers. They tried to polish the covers and all I see is grooves like they used a da to sand it down. But he spent even more money on it like about 3 grand and then the electrical fried out on him so he got it fixed and decided to look at new. In his case I think he would be better off with a new bike but he said he is keeping the old bike to tool around on.The importnat question is:
What kind of KZ is it that your friend Ugi is thinking of abandoning? Pretty sure we could find a new home for it somewhere w/i KZR.

I'm golden and thanks. I call the girl who sold me my first new car and she told me this morning. She said that customers do that to them all of the time and she said that if I rode it off the lot that day I purchased it then I would have owned it but since it was raining like kingdom come I couldn't.Sax (whazaaap), In Illinois, you have three business days to back out of the deal, for any reason.

Believe me I want that bike and I could probably hang it no prob butttttt this would mean my 79 would stay forever in pieces. No way I could do that. First the bike gets a proper build and second I buy a crazy new bike.
