How many miles is the 750 showing?
I didn't look at the miles, but he had just overhauled the engines. She purrs like a kitten and I'm guessing she will for some time longer.

Looks like you did a real nice job on the 250.
Thanks! The 250 definitely looks more like a motorcycle and less like a moped than when I bought it. I will most definitely be taking some pictures of it.
I gave the guy a call a little while ago and left him a message (probably at work), so now I'm just waiting for him to call me back...

If you keep the 250 what will you do with it? Because you most certainly will never ride it again after riding the 750.
I would ride it again, granted not nearly as often, but I certainly wouldn't let it rot away in my garage! LOL!

Small bikes scare me. They never have enough power to get out of trouble and the wind moves them around way too much at higher speeds.
I agree, which is why I only ride my 250 locally around town...also why I want the 750...

Sounds like you are getting the better side of the deal. Make sure the title is clean and get it transferred before he moves.
No doubt!

What other bikes does he have?...Russ
Two 84 GPZ900's, one cherry and one parts bike
2005(ish) Honda Goldwing in great condition
1980(ish) Honda CB400 (drives decent...but uncomfortable peg position...feet almost tucked under the engine)
1976(ish) Honda CB400 Project bike under construction
Unknown make/model/year dirt bike in good shape
May have been one or two others that I didn't pay much attention to also...
I'm not sure what other bikes he's selling, but if anyone is interested I can ask. I'm positive he's keeping the cherry gpz as a track bike, the goldwing for commuting and he's turning the project cb400 into a cafe racer. The dirt bike might be for sale, and I think he said he was selling the other cb....

Called and left a message for him earlier. Still no call back yet, but I know he has a couple hour commute to work (with no traffic), so I'll try again tomorrow if I don't hear from him tonight.
