Not that it makes a huge amount of difference but I think that is a 78 650 C-2 not a 77. I'm basing that opinion on the dyno cover and the petcock. In any case it's nice to see the bike get a good home and the fact one of our own got it makes it even better. Have fun with it.

Good eye Gringo. I stopped by R4's house (yes, he's alive and well and just very busy) and he noticed same thing. It's a 78 (build date 9-77) I sprayed it down with half a can of raid and made about 800 spiders homeless!
