the first car i ever built was a 327 auto powered 74 vega panel
My first one was a '66 Caprice 2 door hard top with a 327 and a 2 speed power glide. I miss that car. My current car is a bit smaller. A little bit quicker too:
1981? CSR 1000 -- I'll figure it out soon enough.

1972 Ford Maverick with a built 351W/Auto
One legger and sidepipes, and this picure is from 2001, not the 70's.
I was in high school at the time.
This was followed by a 1969 Cougar 351W 4V, 1990 Mustang Coupe 393W(ran 11's), then a WRX(ran low 13's), a STI turbo'd Forester(also low 13's) and finally, today:
A Chevy C1500 Extended Cab (runs to the grocery store)
The wifey drives this:
Two kids and the wife's in school, so my KZ is my connection to sanity. If I don't have a project, I get bored. Cheaper to go fast and maintain than cars. I will build another car someday though.

My oldest bike....but my last full resto....a 1973 H2. Sometimes ya feel like a nut........and, yep, those are real Lesters on it:
I'm currently trying to put another one together.....but it's sloooooowwwww.....
My second acquisition for my collection is another stroker from 1976, a Suzuki GT550. I wrenched these back in the day. A fun bike and not anywhere near as intense as a Kawi triple. I've had this one for almost 20 years now:
My latest ride....a "modern" 2006 Suzuki 1200 Bandit....with an engine design dating back to the first Gixxer of 1985. Sadly this was the last year of the oil/air cooled SACS-engined Bandits....they changed the engine entirely for 2007. BTW, this year of Bandit was not sold in the US, IIRC. It's a laff-riot to ride and is a good all-rounder, as you can see by the stuff strapped onto it for a camping trip I was just finishing:
My cage is a 94 S-10 extended cab with a 4.3 and a 5 speed....but it's getting long in the tooth
and sustained some front end damage last winter
so it's going down the road soon. Gotta get
another S-10....maybe one of the last of that
body style...2002 or 2003....
KZ650C2 Stock/mint. Goes by "Ace".
H2A Built from a genuine basket case. Yes,it's a hot rod.
GT550A Stock/mint. Pleasant stroker.
2006 Bandit 1200S for easy LD rapid transit
Various H2 projects in the wings.
