'76 ltd 900 question was created by Randall the Vandal
I have a complete 76 ltd 900 that had been butchered on (frame aft the rear shocks cut off). I would like to find another frame (with paperwork) to swap everything over. I have a '77 kz1000 (mostly parted out/not title), but I would like to keep it as a '76 ltd. I thought of cutting the tail off of the 77 and having it welded onto the '76, but I don't think it would look or be right. Anyone got any ideas or have a '76 ltd frame for sale? Also, how hard is it to title an untitled frame in Texas?

It is pretty difficult to title a frame with no title. The only way I know is a builders title which requires quite a bit of paper work... I have written the steps up in a previous thread and could probably do it again if necessary. There is a fella who is posting some parts for sale from up in Oklahoma... he has a rolling 77 LTD frame for sale I think. See the classifieds... it is a recent one.

i know an okie that could rebuild your rear section or completely replace it with the back half off of another one.surely you could find someone in texas that could fix the frame you have.
