79 KZ750 Barn find on ebay was created by The Gringo
I spotted this 79 KZ750 for sale on ebay. I know there are some 750 twin lovers here (I'm just not one of them) so I thought I'd bring this to your attention. The bike has 3900 miles on it, comes with a title, has a Windjammer SS, sissy bar, and case guards on it. It looks like it would make a pretty easy resto and the owner isn't out of his mind about what he thinks it's worth. The buy it now price is $400.00.

I would tend to believe the mileage is accurate because with the amount of noise that Vetter fairing would have to make from the vibration, the rider would soon be deaf. The ebay item number is 180323359988

Now I feel like I've done my good deed for the day.:) I'm always glad when one of our own gets a good deal on something because I know another old Kaw has found a good home. You can never be 100% positive until you actually lay your eyes and hands on a bike but I've looked at more than my share of these old relics and that looks like it won't take much to bring it back. You might even think about locating a Vetter bracket for your 650 and just swap it over, it will make a lot less noise installed on a 650 than a 750. Keep us posted once you pick it up and have a chance to evaluate it. I'm of the same mindset as Russ, some brillo pads and a good bath will do wonders for that bike.

Nice steal! Nice part about the twins is that even if there is something wrong with it they tend to be fairly cheap on parts
