Race ideas needed

Oh I think we have a winner. Not only will I make it to finish line in an instant, but I also get to wear sweet space cloths.

Here is my latest idea. Going to try to find a industrial site where we can run some laps. Since we will be on old bikes it is for sure someone will break down. It would be a shame for someone to lose the race and therefor their bike because of a break down. So my idea is to have everyone run maybe 5 laps on each bike. Each 5 lap session will be timed and then each persons times will be averaged out. The best average wins all the bikes. Will be cool to get to race many different bikes in one day. Any ideas?

you could get an average age of the contestants so any triva questions would not be age specific.....then have stop points ...or a question asked at the begining of some laps to be answered after a set lap or during a burnout ...somthing fun like motorcycle related or specific to the bike they are competeing on...you could have a teamate strategy pairing guys and combining answers like familly fued but only taking points won to the next event seperate.....points awarded for guessing the other guys tire pressure..ect..ect.closes to the pin type stuff....star trek questions for locozuna and pattons stuff

Then one lap without the clutch cable :whistle:. All the other contestants have to push start the current rider :evil:

Oh and as far as warnings, I'd get the pinkslips ahead of time :laugh:

Those guys are hardcore. Our little race will have the same overall idea though. Some friends getting together and enjoying something they love and not taking ourselves too seriously.

There is also the 24 hours of Le Mons (lemons, get it??). Its been awhile since I read about it but from what I rememeber you buy a car for under a grand. If you get it for less then a grand then you can use the leftover money to modify the car in any way you see fit. You have to present reciepts for anything that you bought or added at tech inspection. If the inspector suspects something fishy he reserves the right to sell the car off for the price that you listed. Then they run them for 24 hours solid. whichever car completes the most laps wins. I always thought that would be hilariously fun to do with bikes.
