Why I hate Americans

Lay a couple of cannonballs on the Promenade of that cruise ship. That should stop those pesky tourists. How many point turn does it take that dingy to get turned around for the exit? Good artillery team should be able to do some good damage coming and going. As for the bike Scrapper should be able to trebuchet a few bikes over to you! :blink: :whistle: :whistle: :pinch:

Looks like a very nice place to live. Do you have good riding curvy roads? Have you searched under the water for good finds? jkd!

We have a lot of nice curvy roads, but most of them are in shit condition, making them not so good for riding. Our economy was the shits for a long time and our provincial government was even worse, so our roads never got the upkeep they needed. The current govn't has turned things around a lot, and we're seeing a lot of new blacktop going down. Soon those nice roads will be filled with bikers looking for a challenge.

Heck, most of our bikes come from an island, the island of Japan. Japan is an island ayy?

Cool pic! I grew up in and around Lunenburg NS. Great roads but the snow and ice tears them up quick.

Doesn't look like you could get far up there anyways hehe... If you get real annoyed, just keep in mind that almost ALL bike finds in barns are closer to you than me anyway. All the barn fresh bikes come from Wisconsin, Minnesota, upstate NY and New England. NOT from Texas. sigh

Yeah I guess I'll have to see what I can find when I'm on the mainland next year. See if timebomb got anything good squirreled away...

Just ranting, I love you guys, I just wish I lived in an area of the world that had more bikes laying around, here on this lonely island there aren't a lot of old bikes.

I hear you on that. The few old bikes that are around here are trying to be sold at ridiculous prices, no matter what the condition. When I picked up my 650 last year I paid too much, but never really had a choice. I'm always on the lookout for another cheap project bike but nothing comes my way.

Now on to the bikes a plenty... Not So... Here in Arizona anyways. Any KZ 650,900 and 1000's are hard to com by any longer. There are police specials but that's about it.

If you do find one, lucky at that, be prepared to pay~ $2k to $4k for a bike that at least is running. If it's in any decent shape, engine upgrades, paint, exhaust etc... $5k and up...

It's actually kind of sad you know....

Same in my area of Cali, most old bikes are baked in the sun for several years. Low on rust, and low on flexible plastic and rubber. I saw a couple cb750's sitting out in the corner of a lot and thought about asking what they want for them, but I don't need another project.

Thats a really cool harbour. Sucks about the shortage of bikes in St Pierre though. The old stuff is hard to find here too (Ontario Canada)
