What was this guy thinking...

Never heard of a back brake I guess... Hell, aim for the grass, jump off the bike, anything but locking up the front would have been a better solution....

He didn't lock up the front wheel. If he had he wouldn't have done a stoppie. My bet's that it was staged and went wrong. How many hours have you spent aiming a video camera out the back window?

I think he did lock it up. Right at the last second the bike shifts and tilts just before he hits the van. . If you were going to stage it would you have riders in formation following? If it was staged it was done pretty good. At the very least the bike was the worse for wear. And those other 4 riders may have to dodge a body and a bike.

I agree that I can see where they we're trying to record a nose wheelie or whatever but that brake locked up on his ass either by malfunction or too much force on the front brake lever and it came over on him.

That just had to hurt like hell. Hitting the vehicle is one thing but gravity rules and he came straight down into the path of that tumbling bike as well. DOH!

Damn, and all I want to do is ride, smell the fresh air, feel the adrenalin of the bikes power, feel the freedom!

Some day, getting soon, hopefully by X-mass...

For Sale:
1 Blue crotch rocket motorcycle. Sorry I can't remember what it was due to a horrible head injury (I wasn't too bright to begin with either) and the fact that every badge has been worn off the bike or is gone from asphalt attack. Sorry but I will not be able to sign the title over to you for another 6 months or until I get these pins out of my arms. But it will take you that long to untwist the frame and replace everything anyway. The bike screamed (I did too) and it's brakes were remarkable and able to haul it down in a heartbeat (It is still beating isn't it just take a look at that monitor please....OK?...great!) (Where is that nurse with my meds!?) Anyway blue book for this bike is $6,909 and I am only asking porridge and toast please....er.....$6,550 so you can see Russia from here...er...what a deal this is. Candlebeakis bring me my slippers.....no....Oh yea...I know there will be great interest in this .....a.....ah.....bike!....but I can only sell it to one of you (at least thats what they tell me) so its first come first.....a......ah....can I have a pony?
First one to call 555-555-2738 gets the bike ....and maybe a pony too. :pinch: :pinch: :pinch: :pinch:
