She's a keeper, for sure.
Now how about you guys with 83's ??? I know you're on this board.....
It all depends on that first digit. If its 000576 then that is the earliest one so far and would be probably 6/76 along with my 0006xx bike. If it's #500576 then it's the later built USA and would fall 12/76 or 1/77
321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

I know can tell the year of a car by the vin. The tenth digit
in my vin is D in which as much as I know is 83. I'll take
a picture and post. It's was built by Kawasaki Heavy

Just verified it is a 1983 kz650h3. Not sure why the build date says 4/82 but it does.
Strange......that's just not right of Kawasaki to be doing things like that to try to confuse us poor folks 25 years later.:laugh: :laugh: :laugh:
