Anyone know if it was make in Japan or USA?

According to the numbers in the pic Bill yours would have been made in Japan. All the bikes that were produced in Lincoln began with a digit of 5.

I looked at 3 more, got 11/76, 7/76 and 6/76. The 6/76 is in the 600 series of Japan build, so I'd think either May or June began production in Japan and Nov or December in USA.

321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

Thanks for all the replies, guys.
Well, so far it looks like RonKZ650 and Eaglecrash2 are the guys with the earliest 650s by far.....7/76 and 6/76. Now that's early production stuff, for sure. Those frames have gotta have serials in the low thousands....or maybe in the FIRST thousand??? Now THAT would be something, IMO.
Keep those cards and letters coming in, folks.
How about the late stuff....like the H3s ?? I know there's at least one member who just joined up who posted that he has an H3. What about it, newbie ??

KZ650C2 Stock/mint. Goes by "Ace".
H2A Built from a genuine basket case. Yes,it's a hot rod.

Various H2 projects in the wings.
