i was riding with a guy years ago who forgot to put his kickstand up ,that 1st left turn was really interesting but he managed to keep it standing!


Been there. Done that. From that day forward I vowed to never do it again. That first left corner was a doosie. :ohmy: :ohmy: :huh: :huh: :woohoo: :woohoo: :blink: :blink: :S :S I was not fortunate to keep my bike standing. :blush: :blush: :( :(

Now I find myself triple checking the kickstand position everytime I pull off.

Don't know whether BMW's are still using the spring-loaded automatically retracting sidestand that flips up when the bike is moved to upright position. But do recall it causing some dropped bikes as riders forget the sidestand is no longer deployed and are unpleasantly surprised when the bike gets away from them. :pinch:
