Header and Seat for KZ1000 Police???

He ended up using an old black kerker and said it fit great. I think most headers for the KZ1000's will work as long as they clear the foot boards. The sidewinder type will not work but most that collect under the engine should be fine.

You seat looks fantastic! Is that custom made? What pan did you start with?

The seat is a stock Harley Davidson 2009 Street Glide seat. Fits pretty darn well. I also won a seat on ebay that fits even better although it doesn't look a sleek. The seat I won is a kz1000 CSR LTD seat from a 81-82. Fit like a glove. The hinges lined up perfectly and it is really comfy. I'll post some pics soon.

Thanks for posting about the CSR seat. I had heard that it would work but never had anyone that actually tried it and could verify it. We have confirmation! :laugh:

Can you tell me what modification that you did to fit that Harley seat to your KZP? I just bought the same seat for my '88 KZP and trying to fit it but looks as I need some work done to it.....its a bit off....not sure what needs done before I can fit it like yours.
