i need a couple parts for a old, small honda. was created by kawsakiman
i don't know where else to put this .
i got a 1971 cl 100 for free.
my oldest daughter and I are restoring it and i'm stuck with a couple of parts.
i need that little round part that holds the front brake cable in place. i have the adjusting nut but am missing the part that holds it in the lever.
we also need the throttle tube.
basically, we need a ton of small parts.
we bought a oversized piston, nos cams, cam sprockets, gasket set and just about every other engine part we need but all these small parts are really hard to chase down.
when the sidecovers that are correct come up on e-bay, they end up going for a mint.
i'm hoping since we have such a large group here someone can help us.
( i wish i could remember which member works at a motorcycle salvage yard )
anyone have one laying around they feel like parting and making a 11 year old very happy?

That would be me, K-man. U2U me with a list of the bits and bobs you need and I'll take a look to see what we have. I know we don't have one of those for parts but we have parted out lotsa CB100's over the years and they use a lot of the same trim parts. CL side covers will NOT be available, that I can guarantee. They only made about 1 CL for every 15 or so CB's so any parts unique to the CL are very rare 37 years later. I'll await your U2U message.
KZ650C2 Stock/mint. Goes by "Ace".
H2A Built from a genuine basket case. Yes,it's a hot rod.
GT550A Stock/mint. Pleasant stroker.
2006 Bandit 1200S for easy LD rapid transit
Various H2 projects in the wings.

Did you try the Honda dealer? I have a 70 ct70H and get all kinds of parts at the dealer. It's got a 82cc 11-1 powerroll piston a takagawa cam and the carb from an sl 125. It's FUN!!!
